Idiom Practice

There is a common idiom for the word rust.  We use the adjective rusty.  It means that something is covered in rust.

For example,

My bike is rusty.

There are many rusty fishing boats in the harbor.

Another meaning is that your skills have decreased or you need to practice something.

For example,

My Spanish is a little rusty because I haven’t used it in a long time.

My driving skills are rusty because I don’t have a car.
