Before class started today we talked about Donald Trump’s inauguration ( 就任 ).
I am still shocked （びっくりした）that Trump became president.
It is a nightmare ( 悪夢 ).
Today we also learned some new vocabulary and practiced pronunciation ( 発音 ) of words that are similar.
Remember to practice your pronunciation everyday!!
It is very important for learning to speak English fluently ( 流暢に ).
The “L” sound is very light. The sound is created in your mouth.
The “R” sound is very heavy or strong. It comes from inside your throat.
We also practiced the “A” sound, and the “O” sound.
Many words have similar pronunciation, but different meanings.
For example;
Low: 低い
Law: 法律
Row: ぎょう / 並び
Raw: 生
