This weeks listening exercise is about an old song called “My Grandfather’s Clock”. This song was wrote in 1876 by a man named Henry Clay Work.
There are many different versions of this song. Recently my daughter loves the Japanese version of this song.
The lyrics( 歌詞 ) are a little different than the original song.
The first part of this video is an American version of the song by Johnny Cash. The last part of the video is the Japanese version sung by Ken Hirai.
